This version: October 17, 2026. What we know about you when you use Your Dog Magazine, and what we do with it.
1. Information you choose to give us
If you write to us through a form, we get what you type in: usually your name, email address and message. We use it only to reply.
Join the email list and we store your address to send those emails. You can unsubscribe from any of them.
What you post (a tip, a rating, a vote) is saved. We use a one-way code derived from your IP address to stop double voting; the address itself isn’t kept.
Routine server logs record visits for security and debugging.
Simple totals (tool uses, clicks on outbound links) are kept without personal details.
2. What stays on your device
Our calculators and tools work inside your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to us.
Some pages remember your last entries in your own browser (local storage). Nothing is sent to us, and clearing site data wipes it.
3. Cookies and third parties
We don’t set tracking cookies of our own, and there is nothing to sign up for to read the site.
If we use analytics (such as Google Analytics) or show ads, those services may set cookies to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser.
When you click through to a store, that store’s cookies and privacy rules apply, and we may earn a commission.
4. Selling and sharing
We never sell personal information to anyone.
The only people who see your information are us and the providers that keep the site running, unless the law requires otherwise.
5. Your choices
Email privacy@yourdogmagazine.com to ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted.
6. Children and changes
If you believe a child under 13 sent us personal details, tell us and we’ll delete them.
If anything here changes, the new version replaces this page.
